Berlin, 12th November 2015: The Berlin e*Message Wireless Information Services Deutschland GmbH will once again present its communication and control solutions, which are employed throughout Germany and Europe, at the 15th edition of the PMRExpo. e*Message will be focusing on its quality characteristics “security and innovation” at Europe’s leading trade fair for professional mobile radio and control centres which is taking place in Cologne from 24th to 26th November. The Berlin mobile network operator’s solutions and services will be presented in hall 10.2 at stand B 08.
Guaranteeing security and developing new solutions and ideas - e*Message was able to show its strengths yet again in 2015. The operator of the largest security radio network in Europe stands for reliable communication technology, secure alert and warning solutions, as well as the efficient and tamper-proof remote control of decentralised energy consumption and generation applications to ensure power grid stability. “Our areas of application concern fundamental future issues: public security and realising the energy transition,” says Dr Dietmar Gollnick, CEO of e*Message.
The remote control solution e*Nergy, which was awarded with the Berlin Brandenburg Innovation Prize, has provided the efficient remote control of EEG facilities, heat pumps, night storage heaters and non-public street lights in the Berlin power grid for a year now. The successfully completed pilot project is currently being rolled out to the entire capital city area. Asset groups can be controlled and individual elements can be regulated incrementally with e*Nergy. Requirements which energy providers and distribution system operators throughout Germany are dealing with on the path to smart power grids. “The hybrid approach makes e*Nergy future-proof, efficient and flexible,” says Gollnick: the solution can be installed separately, but can also be used as an integral part of a new smart meter gateway later on and it is already available and ready to operate.
Reliable availability and secure transmission paths are fundamental to other areas as well: the alert solution e*Cityruf has become established throughout Germany for emergency services of all kinds. e*Cityruf provides reliable communication wherever stipulated reaction times must be observed or where there is a risk of disruption with consequential damage - in the city and in the country, as well as in buildings, cellars and underground car parks.
Safety made in Germany – with e*BOS and e*Warn
A new quality seal for excellent products and security solutions from Germany has been created this year: “Safety made in Germany” (SMG) is awarded by the German Fire Protection Association (vfdb), e*Message is among the first five holders of the seal in the country. “Guaranteeing security is one of our key tasks,” says Gollnick. “Which is why the new quality seal is a special award to us.”
e*Message has received the SMG seal for the alert and warning solutions e*BOS and e*Warn.e*BOS provides an optimum radio service which alerts fire services and disaster management units immediately and simultaneously. e*Warn has become established as a preventive information and warning solution for citizens and public institutions. Target areas can be defined ad hoc, warnings can be entered easily and sent directly to specific groups or individuals.
e*Message will demonstrate its country-wide security radio network with all applicable and combinable solutions at the PMRExpo in Cologne: hall 10.2, stand B 08.
The e*Message Wireless Information Services GmbH (e*Message Europe) operates Europe’s largest security radio network. As one of four mobile network operators on the German market, e*Message maintains a satellite-based radio network with around 800 transmitting stations throughout Germany which is independent from public networks. e*Message provides specialised messaging services focusing on security, mobile organisation solutions and integrated solutions. This allows individuals and groups (e.g. doctors, authorities, fire services, winter maintenance services, service personnel) to be notified, warned and alerted reliably, quickly and accurately via digital devices. Established in December 1999, e*Message took over both the Deutsche Telekom and France Télécom’s paging services in 2000 and has been developing them continuously. The corporate group’s operating centres are located in Berlin and Paris. (www.emessage.de)
